Playing: Such Great Heights-The Postal Service
Do you know how people put their videos in fast motion and it has that cool effect, where everyone is moving around in a slide by slide way? Whenever I listen to "Such Great Heights", I always have this image of my friends and me running around in a park...When I learn how to edit videos, I'll do a video of my friends and I running around in the park with that song going on.
Yesterday, my friends, Breanne, Connor, and Ashley met up with me at the park, so we could film something for our English project. Our job was to explain a poetic device and we got assonance. Breanne kind of forced me into doing a video because she wants to be an actress...It was horrible for me. For some reason, they thought it would be funny to shoot me in the video. My only role in the whole film was to get shot and dragged out of the scene. Connor and Breanne couldn't get the scene right, so they kept on shooting me. I probably got shot over 20 times and I died over 10 times in one day. I had a group of Koreans watching me(including Sinai), a group of African Americans, some little boys on bikes, and my own video group laughing every time I got shot...It's nice to know how people will feel, when I get shot by Connor. Then in the end, since I had been killed, they decided to drag me off the set. My job was to sit up and show that I'm still alive. Connor didn't know that was my job, so he shot me again! While Connor was dragging me across the field, I got some twigs and grass up my shirt, so my back was all scratched up...
For some reason, whenever I'm in plays, I always get horrible parts. I had to do two skits in Science and Health and in each, I played a drug addict. I had to sell cocaine and marijuana to kids and get arrested in each skit. I don't even know why I'm always the drug addict. It's not like I do drugs or anything...In my History Day play, I also played a drug addict who used Marijuana because the Beatles did. I was also a fan girl, so that means I was a fan girl, who was also a drug addict. Why do I always get such weird roles? I just want a normal role for once, where I'm not a drug addict and I don't get killed.
Oh yeah, because of the assonance video, I missed the 6%DokiDoki event in LA that I wanted to go to! I really wanted to go, but school comes first in my family...

hi~! I don't do plays much but I never got any significant parts..like, if we're doing a pantomime, I'm usually the narrattor. I hope you get better roles in the future! =)

Haha..XD I know..I don't mind doing it for free..! But they have to give me one of each of the lipsticks that I named..LOL
I understand your feeling =( I have same problem too! I always get weird roles ( such as the beggar or the hostage or the prince etc ) during our plays (=.=;;) I wanna be a princess so badly! Lol! XDXD

at least you get to be 'in' the play & actually have a role! i seriouslly can't act. so i'm always assigned back stage -_-; that's even worst!

LOL oh my god, poor you and your roles!! It is funny though hehe :P I can imagine the constant reshoots where you get shot and dragged off again and again :P

Coco-It's the type of play, where it's actually a project and we don't have to do a play, but my friends ALWAYS want to do a play. Because of that, they always shove me in there! XD
